Responsible for projects from order to completion, including designs (hardware & software) procurement of equipment, and liaison with customers, to ensure all jobs were built to specification and on time.
Left because of low pay and prospects.

Assistant Electrical Engineer (Nottingham Sugar Factory).
Manufacturer of sugar from home grown sugar beet.
Responsible to the Works Electrical Engineer for the day to day running of the electrical and instrument departments.
Held directly responsible for process control instrumentation; design, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Made redundant due to factory closures.

Left as the system for promotion would not allow me to gain promotion fast enough to suit my qualifications.
Gained my X licence to work on civilian aircraft, but did not take up a post at Stansted Airport for personnel reasons.
